Umbrella teeth

Bevel gears are bevel gears and bevel gears. Bevel gears are often used for transmission of two vertical shafts, but they are also suitable for transmission of two shafts at other angles. A typical application is to drive a vertical pump with a horizontal drive. The two main differences between bevel gears and spur gears are their shape and their relationship to the axis on which they are located. The bevel gear is conical in shape, while the spur gear is originally a cylinder. The bevel gear transmits the movement between two angled shafts, that is, the cross shaft, while the spur gear transmits the movement between the two parallel shafts.

Main features and functions

There are many mechanical transmission methods used on various machines, the main ones are belt transmission, chain transmission, friction wheel transmission, gear transmission, and tandem nut transmission.

Among them, gear transmission, generally speaking, is to enable one shaft to drive another shaft to rotate when it rotates; or to change the rotation of one shaft into linear motion.

Its main characteristics are: there are compact teeth meshing between each other, and the transmitted torque is much larger than belt and chain transmission; its transmission efficiency is also higher than other mechanical transmissions; and it can be used in a large transmission force. Keep the speed ratio between the two shafts unchanged.
