2. When installing the bevel gear carburizing furnace, in order to facilitate the operation, use angle steel and steel plate to seal the carburizing furnace tightly, so that a sealed limited space is formed in the carburizing furnace foundation.

3. The main seal of the bevel gear carburizing furnace is a bottomless muffle tank. Due to the large size of the muffle tank, 1Cr18Ni9Ti steel plate is generally rolled into a cylinder for welding. According to the welding requirements, the bottomless muffle tank must not have welding defects. Because the bottomless muffle tank used in this furnace has welding defects, and it has been working for a long time at a high temperature of 930 ℃, the furnace is under positive pressure, which makes the bottomless muffle tank deformed to varying degrees, causing sudden cracks in the weld. High-temperature flammable and explosive gas with a certain pressure leaks into the foundation from the carburizing furnace lining, making the foundation full of high-temperature flammable and explosive atmosphere.

1. Comparison of deformation between new and old carburizing processes: After the low-pressure vacuum carburizing process is adopted, the after-heat pass rate of the main reduction sun gear shaft has increased from 70% to over 99.5%, exceeding the quality level of General Motors.

2. Hardness, depth of carburized layer and metallographic structure: The surface hardness of the upper, middle and lower samples are 90~91HR15N, 89~91HR15N and 89~90HR15N; the depth of carburized layer of upper, middle and lower samples are 0.53 respectively mm, 0.47mm and 0.48mm; the upper, middle and lower samples are all grade 1 carbides; the upper, middle and lower samples are all grade 2 martensite and austenite, and there is no non-martensite on the surface.
